We are looking for Senior Technical Documentation, Parts and Annotation Specialist candidates for a project delivered through the hiring partner.
What you'll do
- Transform engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) into precise, dependency-correct assembly procedures suitable for technical manuals.
- Identify, verify, and document industrial replacement parts and components based on photos, nameplates, and manufacturer or distributor catalogs, ensuring accurate fitment and application details.
- Interpret production patterns, markers, and cutting-room plans for apparel or industrial fabrication, verifying layout efficiency and technical correctness.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews on annotated image batches, adjudicating label accuracy against established project ontologies and annotation guidelines.
- Produce clear, defensible rationales for decisions and recommendations, capturing expert thought processes for model training purposes.
- Review and refine real-world documents, photos, patterns, or annotation data, delivering outputs at the standard expected from a senior practitioner in your field.
- Collaborate remotely with project coordinators, submitting deliverables through digital platforms within agreed project timelines.
What you need
- Exceptional proficiency with interpreting engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation, or demonstrated expertise with parts identification and catalog research.
- Strong analytical, visual, and spatial reasoning abilities, particularly in pattern interpretation or assembly process documentation.
- Proven track record of producing clear, structured, and accurate records, reports, or manuals to industry standards.
- Experience adjudicating or reviewing work within complex ontologies or quality control environments.
- Comfort working autonomously and communicating reasoning in written form for project documentation purposes.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with digital collaboration platforms and remote project participation is a plus.
