The hiring partner is engaging Personal Finance Experts (UK) to contribute to a customer's project focused on household financial workflows and advisory tasks. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals with deep roots in banking, wealth management, accounting, or tax planning who can clearly communicate complex UK financial concepts. You'll deliver practical insights that reflect the way British households manage savings, pensions, mortgages, and personal taxes, playing a key role in refining the accuracy and relevance of AI-driven personal finance solutions.

Scope of Work

  • Complete real-world personal finance workflow tasks, such as reviewing transactions, budgeting, and account organization, using securely connected UK bank accounts with all personally identifiable information redacted.
  • Apply expert judgment to provide guidance on UK-specific personal finance topics including ISAs, pensions/SIPPs, mortgages, savings, and HMRC Self Assessment, with clear and concise written explanations.
  • Assess and critique AI-generated financial advice against defined rubrics, delivering actionable feedback to improve model performance and reliability.
  • Verify and review financial documentation to illustrate how UK consumers and their advisers manage filing deadlines, account types, and financial decisions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of evaluation rubrics and grading criteria for personal finance outputs.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes in UK personal tax, pension, and savings legislation that impact project deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline (degree or equivalent).
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in personal finance roles focused on UK household matters (ISAs, pensions/SIPPs, mortgages, Self Assessment).
  • Professional background in banking, wealth management, financial advising/planning, accountancy, or tax planning—or experience managing your own advisory or tax practice.
  • Current residence in the United Kingdom and active UK-based personal or business bank accounts.
  • Professional credentials such as CFP, DipPFS, FCA-authorised IFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, ATT; additional designations like CFA or CTP are a strong plus.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial topics into accessible language.
  • Experience with rubric-based evaluation or model output review in AI or related fields (desirable but not required).
