We are looking for Emergency Medicine Physician (MD) candidates for a project delivered through the hiring partner.
About the role
The hiring partner is hiring board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians on behalf of a healthcare AI partner building advanced clinical documentation tools. In this role you will apply your emergency department expertise to review, annotate, and evaluate clinical documentation, directly shaping the accuracy, safety, and clinical usefulness of medical AI systems.
## Key Responsibilities
Clinical Documentation Review
- Review ED clinical documentation and patient charts for accuracy, completeness, and clinical soundness
- Evaluate AI-generated ED summaries against what a practicing emergency physician would expect to see on arrival
Annotation & Structured Feedback
- Annotate clinical encounter data against detailed guidelines
- Flag omissions, hallucinations, clinical inaccuracies, and documentation gaps in AI-generated output
- Provide structured, written feedback that engineering and product teams can act on
Knowledge Contribution
- Contribute expert input on annotation guidelines and edge-case definitions
- Raise clarifying questions where guidance is ambiguous and help refine the guidelines
## Required Qualifications
- MD with a completed Emergency Medicine residency
- Board-certified in Emergency Medicine, with 2–3+ years of practice as a board-certified ED physician
- US-based
## Preferred Qualifications
- Prior AI/ML annotation or model evaluation experience
- Experience synthesizing patient charts into ED arrival summaries

Pay and hours
This role pays $150–$170/hr, for 10 h/week. The work is remote. That is about 78% above the $90 an hour median for medicine roles open now.
