Derivatives Counsel (ISDA Specialist)

We are looking for Derivatives Counsel (ISDA Specialist) candidates for a project delivered through the hiring partner.

What you'll do

  • Perform simulated negotiations and redlining exercises on ISDA Master Agreements.
  • Review and assess AI responses to derivatives contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve model performance and output precision.
  • Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to assess AI performance on derivatives documentation tasks with rigor and consistency.
  • Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.

What you need

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in derivatives documentation, with hands-on negotiation of ISDA Master Agreements, LPAs, CSAs and other types of commercial agreements.
  • Deep familiarity with key ISDA provisions, including events of default, termination events, close-out netting, and collateral terms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
  • Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

  • Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives.
