We are looking for Audio Editing & Production Expert (Audacity) candidates for a project delivered through the hiring partner.
What you'll do
- Perform audio editing and production tasks using Audacity.
- Work on audio trimming, mixing, noise reduction, and sound enhancement.
- Demonstrate real-world Audacity workflows through screen recordings.
- Clearly explain and document each step of your audio editing process.
- Review audio-related tasks and provide feedback to support AI model improvement.
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all completed tasks.
What you need
- Must have access to Audacity and be comfortable recording and sharing your screen.
Nice to have
- Strong hands-on experience using Audacity for professional audio editing or production.
- Previous Human Data experience, such as data annotation, labeling, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
- Good understanding of audio editing, mixing, noise reduction, and audio file formats.
- Ability to explain technical workflows clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Professional background in audio production, sound engineering, podcast editing, or digital media.
- Experience documenting audio editing workflows.

Pay and hours
This role pays $21–$70/hr. The work is remote. That is about 5% below the $48 an hour median for language & audio roles open now.
