We are looking for Circuit Design Expert candidates for a project delivered through micro1.
What you'll do
- Create, solve, review, and validate engineering tasks related to analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, or RF circuits.
- Interpret circuit requirements, produce or modify a netlist or hardware description, run simulations or verification tools from the command line, analyze the resulting outputs, and determine whether the design satisfies its electrical and functional constraints.
- Design, analyze, and validate analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, or RF circuits.
- Translate electrical requirements into schematics, netlists, models, HDL, constraints, or simulation inputs.
- Run circuit simulation, synthesis, verification, or related workflows using command-line-accessible tools.
- Use Python to generate inputs, automate simulations, run parameter sweeps, control instruments, and analyze results.
What you need
- An MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline; or A BS in Electrical Engineering plus at least 1–2 years of relevant professional circuit-design experience.
- Meaningful experience designing analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, or RF circuits.
- Experience with designs that were fabricated, integrated, shipped, or taped out—not only simulated.
- Practical proficiency with Python and coding agents.
Nice to have
- Experience with tools such as ngspice, Xyce, Yosys, Verilator, KiCad scripting, SPICE-compatible simulators, HDL simulators, synthesis tools, or equivalent programmatic EDA software. Experience with a comparable CLI-accessible tool is acceptable.
- Experience with Python tools such as PySpice, NumPy, SciPy, pandas, Matplotlib, cocotb, instrument-control libraries, EDA APIs, or internally developed automation tools.
