We are looking for Legal Expert candidates for a project delivered through Mercor.
What you'll do
- Write a legal problem from a matter you worked on, with the facts, the forum, and the governing law, plus the reference answer a model's attempt gets graded against
- Grade model-drafted legal work: whether the provision does what it claims, whether the privilege call is right, whether the citation supports the proposition it is offered for
- Flag where a model states the law correctly and would still lose, given the forum, the standard of review, or facts that do not carry the argument
What you need
- Professional experience in legal practice, compliance, regulatory work, or policy
- Clear written communication, since most of the work involves explaining your reasoning
- Comfort with ambiguous tasks, and willingness to flag unclear instructions
