We are looking for Legal Expert (J.D./LL.B.) candidates for a project delivered through Mercor.
What you'll do
- Drafting a motion or a brief from a fact pattern, plus the reference answer a model's attempt gets graded against
- Grading model-drafted contract and discovery work: whether the provision does what it claims, whether the privilege call is right, whether the citation supports the proposition it is offered for
- Flagging where a model states the law correctly and would still lose, given the forum, the standard of review, or facts that do not carry the argument
What you need
- Professional experience in litigation, transactional work, or regulatory practice
- Clear written communication, since most of the work involves explaining your reasoning
- Comfort with ambiguous tasks, and willingness to flag unclear instructions
